I’ve been bad

So being away from my hubby has finally gotten to me enough that I had to go visit him.  I went on a 8 hour drive to see him, Hug him and kiss him.. I drove 8 hours for a BOOTY call LOL

It was worth it!

I feel bad that I left my three kids with  my mom and dad.  EVEN worse my sister rode with me… so mom and dad had to keep Melanie too. 

I'm happy that I had her go with me that drive is really really long.

During the day Tiff and I were free to do what we wanted.  My hubby couldn't get time off during the days.  I was sad but knew that might be a problem.

Went to the beach and walked around a bit. i have this strange issue with noticing the colors of sand.  This one was black-ish which was cool Never seen one like that personally

 

That was the first day…

The second day we went to the Natural History museum..

They had the awesome exhibit called Body world.. OMG its amazing and you cant take pics but here  is a link so you can see what it is..

If you Ever get a chance to see San Diego.. GO!!  It was amazing I was surprised at how pretty everything was.  I never once saw graffiti which amazed me to no end in a City so large.   The museums are all in a place called BALBOA PARK its amazing!  There are tons of things to do there.   More piccys here..

I really fell in love with that area.  I didn't get to se as much as I wanted to but cant wait to go back in July and pick up my husband!  We are going to take a few days to do fun stuff as a family then. 

The trip home was bitter sweet.. I was happy to get home to my kids; but so, so heart broken that I didn't get to bring my husband home.   These past few months have been very hard and I couldn't stand it any longer I had to see him.  I broke down crying that I didn't take ONE picture of us together.  I was Heart broke at the thought.  I miss him even more now that I got to see him.  Im really thinking of packing everything up and putting it in storage to go live with him till July.  I know July is close but It hurts so badly!

Happy Cinco de Mayo

WOOHOO its time to drink a beer!  Well in my neighborhood anyway.. I decided for Mojo 34 “Cinco de mayo inspired..If you had a day to call your own and party like a rock star what would it be and what would u do?..2nd Use cinco de may decorations as inspiration”

 

Now I was drawing a total blank on something I would make up for my own.. there are already so many parties and holidays that I love to celebrate.  So I just made stuff for this one.

The beer cap bracelet was sort of a idea that jumped into my head.  It didn't come out exactly as I pictured it in my head but then again nothing ever does..

I think Ill try again with a different bracelet design.

 

the card I gave to a girl friend up the street.  I knew she had a pretty good since of humor, so I wasn't  worried she would get offended with the little hat there … actually it was quite a hit.   I still feel like this card needed something but I really couldn't come up with what and ran out of time so it was was given as is..

 

I haven't done much of anything lately I've been in a total funk for some reason.  I have been bad on my diet not following weight watchers points and stuff.  I don't know why but I'm being silly about it all.  I know I want to do the program but some times I get so childish over food.  I really think food is the toughest addiction to kick.

 

SO that's about it for me today :) have a good day and drink a beer or two

I cheated on the frame  because didn't want to waste that lovely sass paper  cutting one out crooked.  so its supposed to be a frame but its more of a mat…

Mojo Number 32!!

 

My first one eeekkkk It is to scrap you imaginary friend or make one up. And use a animal cracker box as inspiration.   Now I never had an imaginary friend, but I do watch that cute cartoon with my kids called Fosters home for imaginary friends.  I LOVE the cute friends on that show.  So I thought hmmmm if I could add a friend what would it be?

NINJA squirrels!  LOL I have this soft spot for squirrels.  Lets face it they are CUTE, they are FUNNY and in a ninja costume they would kick butt!

Friday the 27th I Drove with Cousin to Suzy's  It was awesome My card was filled and I got my 10 bucks off woot woot!! I was supposed to be cropping but didn't  do much at all LOL 

I made a Yellow and Blue Button necklace… and I started this page that I finished today…

  While I was finishing that page I made another page that I've had the idea for in my head a while now…I was cracking up when Scott gave his speech…

We went on Saturday to Arias 7th birthday I cant believe she is .  We had such fun.  It was so nice to be with the cousins and let the kids run wild.

Buttons make me happy

I have been seeing button necklaces on line and wanted to crochet one for myself.  This is my first attempt.  Its not perfect but I like it and I love my foofala buttons. 

I cant wait to make one using mother of pearl buttons OMG that is gonna be pretty.  I also thought it would be fun to make one using charms or sea glass…
